In this workshop at Mauerpark, students from grade 7 upwards work with experienced graffiti artists and spray their own designs on a legal wall. Take a guided tour of the opera house
At the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, school groups get a one-hour guided tour of the historic opera house, followed by a workshop on staging, costumes and music. Students see how many different jobs it takes to put on an opera. The whole visit takes about two hours. Classes can also come to an opera performance or a special school or children's performance.

Enjoy a 360° view of Berlin
The viewing platform of the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz is 203 metres high and gives a 360° view over the whole city. From up here, students can spot the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and many other places they will visit during the trip. The visit takes about an hour.

See an exhibition on divided Berlin
The Tränenpalast was the departure hall at the Friedrichstraße border crossing, where East Berliners said goodbye to visitors from the West. Today it houses a free exhibition with more than 550 objects and eyewitness interviews about separation, escape and surveillance. A visit takes about two hours, and the building is at Reichstagufer 17.

The “Selfie Museum” provides you with over 30 interactive installations for great photos and videos on Instagram, TikTok and more. For school classes, there are even special workshops here to promote media literacy, where students learn how to use social media creatively and safely. Here, for example, you can test backdrops that otherwise only well-known influencers use and learn more about self-presentation on the Internet as well as image rights, privacy and data protection. This is particularly ideal for teachers who value conscious use of social media, but who also enjoy photography. The gallery is located in the East Side Mall in Berlin. The duration of the experience varies depending on the size of the group and the interest of the participants, but usually takes three to four hours.
